"This, then, is how you should pray: Matthew 6:9-10
A Message from the Rector Friends in Christ, The team of E135, under the spiritual direction of Pamela Clark-Egan and Stan Esterline, anxiously await our blessing of serving Him by serving your pewmates on the Emmaus NCA experience - just four days after our celebration of the resurrection! Our theme, as on all Walks, is found in the 24th Chapter of Luke; in the story of Cleopas and his friend as they traveled to Emmaus a couple thousand years ago. We love this scripture because it narrates the first time that the risen Christ opened the scriptures and plainly explained the meaning of His life, death and resurrection. We will focus this theme through the lens of "Thy Kingdom Come", because we are assembled to consider what we are called to do to build the kingdom and our churches until Christ's glorious return to earth. Below is the current list of our confirmed Pilgrims. We ask you to continue to pray for all of us, lift us up and join us at the appropriate time in the mountain - that we might share a full measure of God's love with our new friends - "filled up, packed down and flowing over"! We promise to send them back 'tanned, rested and ready' for the work of the saints. Thy Kingdom Come! Rob Cannon, Rector
