Be Thou My Vision
A Message from the Rectora
God’s team
for Emmaus 115 has been formed and is now in the process of preparing
for the women’s Walk To Emmaus weekend which will be held February
26-29, 2004. The theme for this weekend is Be Thou My Vision, taken from
the gospel of Matthew, 26:39:
“Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and
prayed,
“My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me.
Yet not as I will, but as you will.”
As members of the body of Christ and as a team that is being woven together
by the grace of the Holy Spirit, we are committed to setting aside our
own desires and keeping our vision focused on God’s will. We give
thanks for this opportunity to “pass it on” and for the continued
prayers of the Emmaus community.
